Hunting Zones

The property is divided into two areas for hunting:

  • Zone 1, Pink, is 76 acres of woodland, with a large open field ideal for rifle
  • Zone 2, Yellow, is 115 acres of woodland

Excellent trophy buck have been taken in the past. The property is adjacent to State Game Lands, and is located near Liverpool, PA, Perry County. There is easy access to each Zone and a nice trail system throughout the property.

PA Game Commission permit and tag are required.

Terms and Conditions

It is agreed and understood between the parties hereto as follows:

  1. The hunting rights granted herein are for the sole use of HUNTER, and such rights shall not be sold, assigned or otherwise transferred to any other person, group, or organization, except for ADDITIONAL HUNTER(S) identified in the form above, for which HUNTER takes full responsibility to adhere to all terms herewith.
  2. HUNTER shall take reasonable precautions and measures to prevent forest fires. Should HUNTER discover a forest fire on this tract or adjoining lands, County Control (911) shall immediately be notified of the location of the fire.
  3. HUNTER will not cut, damage, or destroy any living trees on the property and will not use paint or plastic flagging to mark trails or stands.
  4. Entry to the property will be on Erie Road at the barn.
  5. Anyone under 18 years of age shall be accompanied by an adult and that the adult "agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the landowner for injuries to the child."
  6. The consumption of alcohol is prohibited during any of your activities.
  7. Roads and trails which may be used for vehicular traffic by HUNTER, if any, are shown on the attached map. Road abuse will be cause for immediate termination as provided below.
  8. HUNTER covenants that all persons, hunting on this property will comply with the terms of this agreement; they will observe and comply with all laws, rules, regulations applicable to hunting; they will not maintain any nuisance on the property; they will observe Safety Zones as indicated on the attached map, however, OWNER makes no representations to accuracy.
  9. HUNTER will not leave any refuse or trash on the property.
  10. HUNTER will not interfere with any operations by OWNER on or in relation to this property.
  11. HUNTER shall at all times hereafter indemnify, defend and save harmless the OWNER, and their respective successors and assigns, from and against any and all claims, loss, damage, demands, suits, or other legal proceedings in law or in equity brought by any person, firm, corporation, or governmental body, and the cost and expenses in connection therewith, including reasonable attorneys' fees, which the OWNER may incur, suffer, sustain or be subjected to, directly or indirectly, by reason of this agreement.
  12. OWNER reserves the right to terminate this agreement without notice or refund, in the event that HUNTER fails to comply with any of the terms or conditions of this agreement.
  13. No overnight camping, except by separate prepaid reservation at an RV campsite.
  14. ATV access is permitted only to hang stands and retrieve large game.
  15. Only strap-on tree stands are allowed. No tree steps of any kind are allowed.
  16. A safety harness shall be worn if using a tree stand.
  17. Any tree stand in place for more than one day shall be conspicuously marked with a durable identification tag that legibly sets forth in the HUNTER's first name, last name, legal home address, and CID number found on HUNTER's license.
  18. Notification is requested upon arrival and departure each day, by text (929-646-3766) or email (conservancy@lakeheron.com).
  19. The number of individuals on the property in each Zone is limited to two (2) at any one time, comprised of HUNTER and not more than one (1) ADDITIONAL HUNTER, if that option is selected and paid.
  20. Pre-season access is permitted during two weeks, from October 11-24, 2020.
    • No weapons are permitted.
    • Stands may be placed, with required identification attached.
    • Game cameras may be placed, and monitored during this 2-week pre-season period and only during HUNTER's contracted hunting period(s).
    • Do not enter the property after October 24, except for contracted hunting period(s).
    • Stands or game cameras remaining after the HUNTER's contracted hunting period(s) will be forfeited as abandoned property.

Camping Options

  • RV sites with electricity, but no water/sewer, $40/night.

Note that roads on the property do not have winter maintenance, so access to/from RV campsites and cabins may not be possible due to snow and ice.
