Black bears are curious, have an appetite for garbage and are excellent tree climbers.  Clean campsites are essential to reduce bear problems.

Food odors attract bears.   Store food in airtight containers, inside your car trunk.

"Camping gives us a chance to BE instead of always having to DO".   You can  actually relax, reflect, reflect some more, and wear the same clothes for three days.

The guitar of the noisy teenager at the next campsite makes excellent kindling.

When camping, always wear a long-sleeved shirt. It gives you something to wipe your nose on.

When using a public campground, a tuba placed on your picnic table will keep the campsites on either side vacant.
